Radiology Tech Assistant

Job Description Summary

Assists Technologist and department by performing a variety of clerical and patient care activities. Receives and transports patients and answers questions regarding procedures. Prepares imaging rooms, stocks supplies, and assists the Technologist with procedures as needed.

Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED. BLS certification is required.

Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors and outdoors, from elevated areas, in confined spaces, kneeling, bending, twisting, squatting, pinching, performing gross motor activities with fingers and hands, figurative grasping, fine manipulation, reaching overhead, repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows/shoulders, using both legs, maintaining balance, reaching in all directions, lifting and carrying 50 lbs. unassisted, lifting/lowering objects, exerting up to 50 lbs of force, maintaining vision, hearing and ability to manage stress, working rotating shifts, overtime, and a latex‑safe environment.

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA)

Promotion wage increase based on passing the radiology tech registry. Benefits and a sign‑on bonus may also be awarded if eligible for the position.

Education:

High School Degree or equivalent.

Work Experience:

0‑2 years of work experience.
