Job Description Summary
Assists Technologist and department by performing a variety of clerical and patient care activities. Receives and transports patients and answers questions regarding procedures. Prepares imaging rooms, stocks supplies, and assists the Technologist with procedures as needed.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations And EducationMust be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED. BLS certification is required.
Physical RequirementsAbility to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors and outdoors, from elevated areas, in confined spaces, kneeling, bending, twisting, squatting, pinching, performing gross motor activities with fingers and hands, figurative grasping, fine manipulation, reaching overhead, repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows/shoulders, using both legs, maintaining balance, reaching in all directions, lifting and carrying 50 lbs. unassisted, lifting/lowering objects, exerting up to 50 lbs of force, maintaining vision, hearing and ability to manage stress, working rotating shifts, overtime, and a latex‑safe environment.
