Visiting Angels, America’s Choice in Homecare, is seeking in‑home caregivers, both CNA’s and experienced Dorchester, Berkeley and Charleston Counties residents. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required and current, up‑to‑date insurance
• Must adhere to plans of care for client
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
• One year of in‑home, caregiver experience preferred
• Must have good communication skills, active listening between clients/families and staff
• Must remain calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status
• Pass background and drug screening

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
• Medication reminders
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions
• Transportation to and from shops, pharmacy or appointments
• Perform light housekeeping duties for the client
• Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion

• One year proven experience as an in‑home caregiver (preferred)
• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker; training is available
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

We service Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley counties, and surrounding areas in SC
.
