Under general supervision, supports program projects for the School of Medicine-Columbia South Carolina Center for Rural and Primary Healthcare. This position will work closely with the Center’s directors and program managers to assure the execution of project plans, including establishing timelines and monitoring the achievement of milestones. Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.

Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Prefer previous experience in coordinating programs, project management experience, from conception to delivery, and experience in public health, program evaluation, or health care systems preferred, but not required.
- Prefer strong experience in Microsoft package (to include Excel, Word, etc).
- Experience with computer-based documentation and communication.
- Ability to communicate effectively with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Coordinates Center programs focused on healthcare delivery, to include mobile healthcare units, telehealth, and other delivery programs. Coordinates with Center Program Managers on managing these programs, including providing technical assistance to programs, coordinating administrative support for programs and program managers. Performs onsite visits to funded programs, as needed. Serves as a liaison with the programs and the Center and works with the Center Research and Evaluation team for project impact assessment.
