  • Status: Full Time
  • Schedule: 4 x 10 or 3 x 12 shifts with a weekend a holiday rotation

What We're Looking For:
  • Education:

    High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Experience:

    One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required.
  • Additional Skills (required):
    Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology. Maintains Sterile Processing Technician certification.
What You'll Do:

Key Duties:

  • Inspect, clean, decontaminate, sort, assemble, and sterilize surgical instrumentation, equipment, and medical devices.

  • Operate and maintain all sterilizers, washers, and other specialized equipment, performing routine biological and chemical testing.

  • Prepare and package trays and kits for all surgical specialties ensuring accurate contents and integrity.

  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, biological tests, and instrument inventory, documenting all quality assurance monitoring activities.

  • Perform routine inspection and testing of instrumentation promptly identifying and reporting any missing or damaged items.

  • Transport sterilized supplies and equipment to the Operating Room and other patient care areas in a safe and timely manner.
