Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Patient ratios of 1:1-2 in CICU setting

• Every other weekend required (12 weekend shifts during contract)

• May float to MICU or other departments when census is low

• Can be placed on call for low census but no additional call shifts required

• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• 2 years of ICU experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

• Preferred equipment experience with CRRT-Prismax

• Royal blue scrubs required

• Epic charting system

• Free parking with pass distributed at badge pickup

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with primarily cardiac diagnoses

• Unit also takes MICU/SICU overflow patients

• Work with specialized equipment including Flo Trac, Impella CP/RP/5.5, IABP, and CRRT-Prismax

• Hurricane season awareness required - may be assigned to emergency response teams June through November

This acute care hospital operates a newly established 4-bed CICU unit with plans to expand to 16 beds as volume increases. The facility provides comprehensive cardiac care services and maintains modern equipment including advanced monitoring systems and specialized cardiac support devices. The hospital offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
