Job Summary
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the nuclear medicine equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.

- Collaborate with team members in a supportive environment.

- Ensure a safe patient environment demonstrated through adherence to safety principles.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (required). 2‑Year / Associate Degree (preferred). Graduate of an ARRT‑approved or NMTCB‑recognized nuclear medicine program (required).
- Experience: Minimum of one year in nuclear medicine (preferred).
- Licensure/Certification:
- Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB – RT(N) or CNMT (required).
- IV Credentialed (required).
- Applicable state license (required).
- Additional skills required: Ability to complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills; capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms; working knowledge of various nuclear medicine equipment; adaptability to new and varied situations and procedures relative to patient age; interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to age‑specific needs.
