The South Carolina Department of Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior and Smart State Center for Healthcare Quality (CHQ) at University of South Carolina (USC) Arnold School of Public Health invites applications for two post-doctoral fellow positions to participate in funded HIV and relevant research. These projects involve the utilization of multiple types of Big Data and advanced statistical methods in studying a variety of issues related to HIV and other health conditions, including but not limited to, community resilience, racial/ethnic disparities of HIV care continuum outcomes, transition of pediatric-to-adult HIV care, HIV associated comorbidities, aging, synthetic data generation.
ResponsibilitiesThis position focuses on quantitative research using advanced statistical modeling and evaluation of health promotion and prevention intervention trials. The work may involve analysis of statewide or nationwide data sources for health promotion research.
QualificationsRequired Education and Experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Applicants will be expected to have experience in quantitative research methodologies, advanced statistical modeling, development and evaluation of health promotion and prevention intervention trials. Preferences will be given to applicants with previous research experience in utilization of statewide or nationwide data sources for health promotion research.
