Position Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP for the 25/26 school year
  • Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
  • Grade Levels: K-5th grade caseloads available, 40 students on caseload
  • Campuses: One Elementary School
  • Certifications: Open to CFY candidates; school will provide supervision
  • Licenses: Must hold SC SLP license and educator certificate
  • Compensation: Starting at $43/hour (commensurate with experience)
  • Location: 100% On-Site

Position Overview: We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools, helping them develop communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students  speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students  needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students  communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings.
  • Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development.
  • Monitor students  progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes.
  • Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students  speech and language needs.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Current ASHA certification required
  • Passionate about working with K-12 students
  • Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
  • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques in pediatric speech-language pathology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology used in speech-language therapy (preferred)
