Radiation Oncology Nurses have the unique privilege of spending meaningful one-on-one time with patients, allowing for the development of strong, trusting relationships with both patients and their families. Our nurses provide compassionate care, education, and emotional support throughout the entire cancer journey—from diagnosis and treatment through recovery and survivorship. In this role, nurses work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes radiation therapists, physicians, social workers, patient access representatives, and dietitians to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Job DescriptionOur radiation oncology clinic located in Murrells Inlet manages and treats patients with complex cancer diagnoses across all stages of disease. While we treat a wide range of malignancies, the most common diagnoses include:
- Breast
- Prostate
- Lung and thoracic
- Head and neck
- Neurologic
- Gynecologic
- Gastrointestinal (GI)
- Bachelor of Nursing degree required.
- A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required. Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
