Advertised Job Summary
:
The laboratory Specialist II will be in the laboratory of Dr. Igor Roninson and Dr. Eugenia Broude, to carry out studies aimed at preventing drug resistance in cancer. These studies are supported by a grant from the National Cancer Institute. Duties include conducting supervised experiments on the effects of anticancer drugs in cell culture and in mouse tumor models, as well as maintaining the inventory of laboratory supplies, cell lines and animals, data processing and entry, assistance with preparation of reports and presentations.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related area, experience in a biological laboratory and willingness to work with mice and to learn new laboratory techniques. Experience in animal studies preferred but not required.
