- Oversight and management of facility‑level operations for a Free‑Standing Emergency Room and Urgent Care Hospital Outpatient Department
- Complete P&L responsibility for the facility(s)
- Integration of operations with all applicable hospital departments (e.g., Nursing, Radiology, Laboratory)
- Coordination and integration of provider activities with the Medical Director
- Maintain consistent operational procedures and a patient‑oriented customer service culture
- Track and maintain facility operational metrics against benchmarks
- Coordinate with hospital partners for clinical recruitment and training
- Champion the facility’s culture and serve as a cultural champion
- Manage facility department leadership staff
- Participate in regulatory and accreditation preparedness and survey processes
- Engage in local marketing activities and collaborate with the Regional Vice President and Joint Operating Committee on budget development
- Manage customer service experience and measure, track, and report customer satisfaction levels
- Drive volume and center‑level growth
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s/MBA preferred, RN license preferred - Alignment with core values and servant‑leadership mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong relationship‑management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple organizations
- Solid understanding of healthcare operations and hospital‑based reimbursement (coding, billing, collections)
- Highly motivated with initiative, independence, and curiosity
- Self‑driven, able to work well under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience within the healthcare sector
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in healthcare management; multi‑site experience preferred
This job operates in a healthcare setting. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear, use close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus. The position involves moderate noise from phones, computers, printers, and medical equipment. It requires intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting and supporting patients.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a healthcare setting with potential exposure to radiation, noise, infectious/diseasable conditions, blood, chemicals, odors, gases, and dust.
Position Type / Expected HoursExempt/Salary; full‑time.
TravelPrimary local travel between facilities; occasional out‑of‑area or overnight travel may be required. The incumbent will be responsible for their own transportation.
