PRN Medical Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our PRN team. The Medical Assistant works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience.

• Escorts patients to rooms and ensures exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked.
• Reviews medical history and gathers updated health information to inform the provider.
• Takes vitals, performs blood draws, gives injections, bandages wounds, and assists with procedures.
• Prepares and administers medications and immunizations as ordered by the provider.
• Partners with care team to develop individual patient plans and address gaps in care.
• Performs front desk duties: patient scheduling, medical record requests, documentation, and coordination of specialist visits and referrals.
• Records accurate data in the medical record according to documentation guidelines.
• Processes test results and provides patients with timely results via e‑message, mail, or phone.
• Participates in outreach to patients to drive engagement among eligible patient groups.
• Maintains clinical and office supplies and equipment for treatments.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduated from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state‑specific MA certification or registration (required where applicable).
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Pay Range: $20.00‑$24.00/hr the actual offer may vary by geographic location and candidate experience.
