Working Hours:
7am - 5:30pm. Fill in as needed. Rotating call nights, holidays and weekends
Summary:
Provides variety of sonographic images per approved protocols, maintains quality images and documentation, and responds to patient safety, mental and physical comfort.
Other information:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and/or graduate of an accredited School of Sonography
- Have and maintain at least two current certifications with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required. Specialty certifications include:
Vascular Technology (VT), Abdomen (AB), Breast (BR), Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN), and Pediatric Sonography (PS) - Must have and maintain current CPR (American Heart Association-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
- One year of clinical experience, annually demonstrates competency in 11 of the 29 ultrasound procedures. Employee’s proof of competency will be approved by the Medical Director of Ultrasound.
