Position Overview

Baby Net Data Analyst will assist with implementation of the system of general supervision, monitoring, and data oversight for the Part C/Baby Net program. The analyst will prepare required data for all federal reporting, serve as a subject matter expert for Baby Net staff and providers, and provide technical assistance to stakeholders related to the collection and submission of high‑quality data.

Responsibilities
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate data related to the Office of Special Education Program’s State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR) indicators and assist with data reporting related to corrective action plans (CAP).
  • Prepare required data for all federal reporting including SPP/APR and Section 618 Data Reports, maintain the Family Outcomes Measurement Process, and assist with monthly Local Education Agency (LEA) reporting as needed.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for all Part C data system activities, monitor the system daily, determine areas in need of system upgrades, and work with the project management team on data system activities including requirements gathering, development, and testing.
  • Develop SPP/APR‑related training materials focusing on data collection and quality, conduct data‑related training as needed, and assist with design, development, implementation, and evaluation of a data system training plan.
  • Represent the Baby Net program on internal and external data/system‑related work groups and/or conferences, maintain a working relationship with the Part C Data System vendor, and complete other duties as assigned.
  • Attend and participate in relevant opportunities for professional development and training, demonstrate utilization and application of new skills learned to improve effectiveness and efficiency within assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social service programs, business administration, general administrative management, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional experience in social service programs, early intervention, special education, or a related field.
  • Experience creating and managing complex spreadsheets and data sets, utilizing Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts, and creating and modifying charts and graphs to present data trends effectively.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with agency staff, providers, and stakeholders.
  • Self‑motivated, organized, able to work independently and as part of a team, and able to exercise judgment and discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to prioritize activities to meet deadlines.
