Project Control Specialist

Insight Global is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support one of our large energy companies in Salem, SC. This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget by providing comprehensive financial oversight and project control expertise. You will collaborate closely with project managers, finance teams, and stakeholders to monitor budgets, track costs, and forecast financial performance.

The position is hybrid, with a preference for candidates who can work 100% onsite when needed.

• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking systems.
• Monitor project financial performance and identify variances against approved budgets.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and dashboards for leadership review.
• Support project scheduling and resource planning to align with financial objectives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve cost and schedule issues.

• 5-7+ years of experience in project controls and financial management
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Background in Utilities, Manufacturing, or Construction
• Experience with financial forecasting and cost analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, project management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
