Summary:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accounting and financial reporting, as well as financial profitability analysis and other special projects as assigned.
- Supports financial reporting process including accuracy and preparation of financial statements with Division Headquarters.
- Provides analysis on financial statements.
- Prepares and posts all journal entries.
- Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations and reviews with Controller.
- Codes and reviews expense reports for payment.
- Provides analysis on inventory and value-add margin by customer.
- Responsible for two direct reports (AP and AR positions). Provides support and monitors performance.
- Provides backup for other financial functions which may include;
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. - Reviews daily customer billing activity prior to invoicing.
- Supports year-end financial statement audit and internal audit programs.
- Leads finance function for year-end physical inventory.
- Supports inventory cycle-count program, reports weekly performance metrics and initiates process improvements.
- Supports budget and forecasting process.
- Adheres to and implements all corporate financial policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Improves systems and procedures, initiates corrective actions.
- Generates ideas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Will travel to other company locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
