Our client, an organization dedicated to delivering exceptional live event experiences, is seeking a passionate and reliable Stage Hand Event Staff to join their team. As a vital part of the event support crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth setup and teardown of equipment for concerts, shows, and various live events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and a strong work ethic, aligning successfully with the organization’s commitment to excellence and safety.
Job Title: Stage Hand Event Staff
Location: Columbia, SC
Pay Range: $15
Shift: Starting shift 8am to finish returning at 10:30pm
What’s the Job?- Unload trucks and transport equipment to designated areas for events
- Assist in setting up stage and event equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency
- Support the teardown process after events, loading equipment back onto trucks
- Handle equipment with care, primarily on rollers, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet event deadlines and standards
- Ability to work both morning and late‑night shifts
- Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Dress appropriately with jeans, T‑shirt or sweatshirt, and gloves
- No drug or background screenings required
- Competitive hourly pay of $15 per hour
