Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer in Walterboro, SC .

Position Summary
The Mechanical Engineer will support manufacturing operations by designing, improving, and maintaining production equipment used in the chemical manufacturing process. This role focuses on machine design, prototype testing, process improvement, and troubleshooting equipment on the plant floor.

Responsibilities of a Mechanical Engineer includes:

• Design and develop production equipment and mechanical systems
• Support installation, setup, and testing of manufacturing machinery
• Create prototypes and evaluate equipment performance
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on the plant floor
• Work with production teams to improve efficiency and reliability
• Coordinate with vendors and maintenance teams on equipment improvement

REQUIRED Experience and

Education:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Experience with machine design and mechanical systems
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with CAD software preferred
