Environmental Engineer

Kavaliro is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support a client in California.

• Data entry, weekly inspections, and weekly validation of environmental checklists.
• Manage the disposition of solid waste and recyclable materials.
• Manage contractors for waste shipment and samples.
• Asset Owner for Recycle Balers.
• Waste and Recycling Program Owner (inspections, compliance reporting, DOT Shipping Papers, Waste Manifests).

• Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or equivalent.

• 5+ÂYears of Hazardous Waste, DOT and Waste Management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements of EPA (Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act), South Carolina Department Environmental Services, Chemical management.
• A Bachelorâs degree in Environmental Engineering preferred but not required.
