We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed North Carolina Professional Surveyor to lead and oversee land surveying projects with precision, integrity, and enthusiasm. * Responsibilities
* * Conduct and supervise land surveys using advanced equipment such as GPS and total stations to gather precise spatial data.

* Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, schematics, and legal descriptions utilizing AutoCAD and Carlson software.

* Lead ALTA surveys (American Land Title Association), boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and subdivision layouts with meticulous attention to detail.

* Manage data collection efforts in the field through efficient use of Carlson GPS units and other GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for accurate spatial analysis.

* Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to interpret project requirements and deliver comprehensive survey solutions aligned with civil engineering standards.

* Ensure all surveying activities comply with North Carolina state licensing laws and industry best practices while maintaining thorough documentation for legal purposes.

* Utilize schematics and drafting skills to develop detailed plans that support construction projects and land development initiatives.

* Requirements
* * Valid North Carolina Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license with active certification.

* Extensive experience in land surveying techniques including GPS positioning and CAD drafting.

* Strong knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and math principles essential for precise measurements and calculations.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Carlson Software and other drafting or GIS platforms.

* Familiarity with civil engineering concepts related to construction layout, schematics development, ALTA surveys, and data collection methodologies.

* Experience working on large-scale projects involving construction sites or land development processes.

* Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting survey findings clearly. Pay: $67,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
