Job Title:
LabVIEW Test Engineer
We are seeking a skilled LabVIEW Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software writing and editing, with a preference for experience in NI LabVIEW and Test stand. This role requires strong skills in Microsoft Windows-based PC hardware and software, as well as experience in developing and maintaining automated test equipment using commercial instruments.
Responsibilities- Analyze complex problems that are not routine and require a deeper understanding.
- Ensure the implementation of assigned actions as per the manufacturing action plan, including audits, failure analysis, and improvement plans.
- Collaborate with IT resources to ensure test software and data systems operate correctly with necessary data maintenance.
- Communicate issues to the R&D department and submit forms and markups for documentation updates.
- Support analysis and continuous improvement of production test yield, identifying root causes and proposing solutions.
- Assist with technology transfers of test processes across the global supply chain.
- Define test requirements and create test processes for new products as part of the new product introduction team.
- Implement new test processes and tools according to assigned action plans.
- Anticipate and solve problems with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Utilize training in electronics and analyze electrical schematics.
- Be mechanically oriented and able to use common tools for disassembly and reassembly of test equipment.
- Experience in NI LabVIEW and Test stand.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Windows-based PC hardware and software (98, XP, 7, 10).
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated test equipment using commercial instruments such as NI PXI system.
- Experience in an electronic assembly/PCBA manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Boundary Scan Tools such as XJTAG and Corelis.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with automated test equipment and NXPXI.
- Experience using SQL and Test stand.
- Proficiency in navigating the Windows environment and using Linux for products in a Windows test environment.
This role is based on-site, five days a week, at our R&D facility. The work environment is dynamic and requires collaboration with various departments to ensure success.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Batesburg, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 – $42.00/hr.
Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Batesburg, SC.
