Senior Environmental Engineer
Location:
South Carolina – Statewide
Senior Environmental Engineer responsible for design and delivery of water treatment facilities of moderate to high complexity throughout the Southeast United States.
Responsibilities- Create and manage design teams to deliver moderate to high complexity water treatment facilities, including process modeling, construction drawing signing, and engineer‑of‑record roles.
- Review draft designs and reports for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; sign off on completed designs.
- Perform site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications; update design requirements as necessary.
- Conduct water quality analyses and modeling.
- Develop white papers and technical documentation; submit to technical journals.
- Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals and review RFPs for adherence to regulations and best practices.
- Engage with current and potential clients and government officials to clarify technical questions and provide project updates.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff; mentor for growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in U.S. state.
- Minimum 10 years of related experience.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency contingent on duties.
- Expert knowledge of CADD 3D/4D software, engineering design principles, Microsoft business software, and federal, state, local regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional Engineer.
Travel Requirements20% domestic and/or international travel.
