Practice Lead - Site Civil

A well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Site Civil Practice Manager to lead and grow its practice in Columbia, South Carolina.

This is a senior leadership role for a licensed Professional Engineer with a strong background in site development, client management, and team leadership. You will take ownership of an established team while playing a key role in expanding the firm’s footprint.

• Lead and grow the Site Civil practice in South Carolina
• Manage and develop client relationships across municipal and private sectors
• Oversee proposals, scopes, schedules, and fee development
• Act as Senior Project Manager on complex site development projects
• Provide technical oversight across grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and roadway design
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering staff
• Drive productivity, profitability, and team performance

• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE)
• 10+ years’ experience in a consulting engineering environment
• Strong site development and permitting background
• Proven project management and leadership capability
• Experience with Civil 3D preferred
