Job Description
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company F-35 program seeks an experienced and motivated candidate to join the Signature Integration Team for Supportable Low Observables (SLO) at FRC‑E Cherry Point. The successful candidate will become a subject‑matter expert in supportable low observables, maintaining the RCS integrity of the F-35 and operating and analyzing RCS zonal and point inspection measurement equipment. The role requires identifying, developing, implementing, and sustaining process improvements related to LO coatings and LO verification measurement equipment, along with strong verbal and written communication skills, customer‑interaction experience, and the ability to develop compelling technical proposals with cost and schedule estimates.
Responsibilities- Responsible for SLO operations to support production, sustainment, and development requirements.
- Perform technical reviews of modification documentation, including Change Requests (CRs), Initial Retrofit Plans (IRPs), Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTDs), and LO Workbooks.
- Plan, perform, post‑process, and communicate the results of laboratory, field, depot, flight, and vehicle signature measurements.
- Provide LO technical support for the validation and verification of modifications and field action requests.
- Support the operation of Low Observable Health Assessment System (LOHAS).
- Coordinate with various functions on the team to develop integrated technical and project solutions to program risks and issues.
- Travel may be required to support tasks.
- Experience with Radar Measurement Technology, F‑35 LO maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of VAS, PDM, CAD (CATIA V5), MATLAB, Compu Quest, relational databases, CRM, and Excel.
- Experience in low observables, survivability, or susceptibility.
- Project or program management experience and execution of signature technology.
- Proven experience interfacing with diverse teams of contractors and military customers.
- Experience with Repair Verification Radar (RVR) or other zonal RCS equipment.
- Knowledge of radar cross section (RCS), LO materials and processes, and LOHAS.
- Prior military service at multiple levels of fighter aircraft maintenance, logistics, and support (preferred).
- Familiarity with F‑35 airframe design, coating materials and methods, and aircraft systems and subsystems.
- Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering and sustainment teams.
- Excellent information organization, written, and verbal presentation skills.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
