Racing and Performance Design Engineer

Quick Time Performance (QTP) is a U.S. company that designs, develops, manufactures, and distributes exhaust systems and components for the automotive aftermarket. We serve the Hot Rod, Muscle, Off‑Road, Light Truck, and Import Performance markets and pride ourselves on providing American‑made products and superior customer service.

QTP is currently seeking a Design Engineer to join our design and engineering department.

• Design exhaust systems and lead them through the process from concept to materialization.
• Produce detailed drawings and specifications using Solid Works and Fusion 360 CAD programs.
• Apply strong math, geometric, and analytical skills to solve design challenges.
• Research and compare existing parts and systems.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and contribute to an evolving, fun work environment.

• Proficiency in Solid Works and Fusion 360 CAD.
• Strong math, geometric, and analytical skills.
• Passion for cars, trucks, and motorsports.

• Knowledge of metal materials and pipe systems.
• Understanding or ability to learn production machinery.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Interest in the automotive industry.
• Manufacturing / Fabrication experience preferred.

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Mechanical engineering: 3 years (Preferred)
• Fusion 360: 3 years (Preferred)
• CAD Software: 3 years (Preferred)
• Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
• CNC programming: 3 years (Preferred)

• Solid Works Certification (Preferred)
