Senior Project Manager - Civil Site Development

Location: Columbia, SC

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong understanding of civil site design and experience in water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure projects. This role requires excellent communication skills and involves regular interaction with clients.

Typical Duties

• Managing one or multiple projects for multiple clients.
• Proposal preparation and fee development.
• Client, job site, and consultant visits.
• Monitoring project scope, schedules, and budget.
• Managing engineering work and interfacing with other disciplines.
• Creating project scope of work.
• Communicating and coordinating efforts.
• Supervising engineers and technicians.
• Tracking projects using project management software.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Skills:
  • 12+ years of experience in design of public and private projects.
  • Experience managing complex engineering projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working experience with AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D.
  • Business development skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Understanding of business financial information.
