Recruit prospective students into USC Palmetto College degree completion program from Fort Jackson and the surrounding military communities. Manage the Innovation Lab’s schedule and assist instructors, students, and community members with lab & technology. Participate in recruitment and enrollment activities, including open houses, regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, and career days.

- Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5:00 - Anticipated Hiring Rate: $41,258
- Pay Range: $40,269 – $49,330 – $58,390 (Market Range)
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience).
- Valid driver license and ability to travel extensively.
- A master’s degree in Student Personnel Services or related field.
- Background experience in admissions, public relations, sales, or another student personnel area.
- Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills: working knowledge of Mac software, BANNER, Salesforce/Lightning.
- Availability for evening and weekend work.
- Recruit prospective students from Fort Jackson and surrounding military communities; manage the Innovation Lab schedule and assist instructors, students, and community members with lab & technology. Participate in open houses, regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, and career days.
- Develop new inquiries through active outreach to local Palmetto College campus students, military recruitment and partnerships, technical college representatives and students, and business and community leaders; manage prospects through engagement activities and communication to support them through the application process using approved recruitment policies and software such as Target
X and texting software. - Manage the Innovation Lab at Fort Jackson. Use scheduling software such as 25
Live, Calendly, Microsoft Forms, and/or Qualtrics, as well as the Target
X CRM to manage the lab’s calendar of events and classes; work to create partnerships with the military and other community members to support continued learning; assist outside community members with obtaining day base passes and ensuring the lab is properly set up. - Serve as a liaison for prospective students through the admissions process and conduct all activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards. Adhere to all state and federal accreditation requirements, and the rules and regulations regarding student recruitment set forth by the University and Palmetto College. Conduct weekly follow-up activities with prospective students to ensure successful matriculation; log all interactions using the CRM system.
