Join Our Team and Make a Difference! Whetstone Academy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (Grades 5-9) to join our passionate team. This position requires a qualified individual to provide specialized instruction and support to students in grades 5-9 with diverse learning needs.

Monday - Thursday 7 am to 4 pm and Friday 8 am to 4 pm

Salary scale: $47,500 - $78,000

• Provide direct instruction and support in core academic areas
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and assistive technology to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in special education
