Faculty member will normally teach twelve credit hours per semester (or equivalent), including evening and distributed learning courses as needed. The basic requirement is to teach psychology courses. In addition to teaching foundational courses for freshmen and sophomores, there may be opportunities to teach upper‑division courses in the Palmetto College online bachelor’s degree programs.
The instructor must be willing to teach dual‑credit high‑school students at both Indian Land and main campus locations. Instructors must have a commitment to university/community service.
RequiredEducation and Experience
• Master’s degree in psychology or another appropriate discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in psychology, including credentials necessary for departmental approval by the start date of employment.
