Advertised Job Summary

The Finance Department at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina, invites applications for a professional track Clinical Assistant Professor or Lecturer. Primary duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the 2026/2027 academic year. All areas in Real Estate will be considered. This position is designed to offer opportunities for long-term employment with the university, with renewable contracts and opportunities for promotion in accordance with established policies for non-tenure track faculty.

Salary and compensation are highly competitive and commensurate with experience and achievements. All faculty searches are subject to the availability of funding.

Required Education And Experience

For appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, a PhD in finance or a related discipline and potential for teaching and service excellence are required. Clinical faculty are also expected to engage in research activities such as conference presentations and publishing in academic and industry journals. For appointment at the rank of Lecturer, a Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, and/or Business Administration coupled with relevant business experience.
