Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site position for a Nursing Instructor located in the Columbia, South Carolina Metropolitan Area. The Nursing Instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering course content, providing hands‑on training, and mentoring students to prepare them for successful careers in the nursing field. Responsibilities include designing curriculum, teaching theory and practical applications of nursing, assessing student progress, and offering academic support to ensure educational success.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Nursing and Medicine with a comprehensive understanding of patient care and clinical practices.
- Experience in Nursing Education, including the ability to teach and mentor students in both theoretical and practical settings.
- Skills in Curriculum Development and the ability to design, implement, and evaluate effective instructional materials and course plans.
- Background in Critical Care Medicine is a strong advantage, along with the ability to handle complex clinical scenarios.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or a related field is required; a doctorate is preferred.
- Active RN license in the state of South Carolina or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
