The South Carolina Baptist Convention is seeking a full-time Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) Director for Benedict College and Allen University to lead Gospel-centered ministry at two Historically Black Colleges and Universities in Columbia, South Carolina. This role exists to see these campuses saturated and transformed by the hope of Jesus Christ through intentional evangelism, disciple-making, leadership development, and mission engagement. The BCM Director will serve as the Baptist collegiate minister on both campuses, mobilizing students, alumni, and churches to boldly share the Gospel, develop disciples who make disciples, and cultivate strong partnerships with local churches and campus leaders.
HBCU campuses represent one of the most strategic mission fields in our state and nation. Students at Benedict and Allen University are future leaders, influencers, pastors, educators, and culture-shapers. Reaching Benedict and Allen students with the Gospel has generational impact. The BCM Director plays a vital role in advancing the Cooperative Program mission, strengthening the local church, and helping fulfill the Great Commission on college campuses.
