This is a 245 day position. Pay

Schedule:

Teacher Salary. This position is for the  school year.

• If CNACI Qualification has been granted from Cadet Command, the Hire Officials MUST submit a Hire Packet.
• Intent to Hire (ITH) letter is submitted to initiate the CNACI process for new and potential hires into JROTC Instructor positions.
• The Hire Packet Must Include:
  Request to Hire Letter (start date cannot be on weekend and number of months not to exceed 11-months).
• DD 2767 (version 2017).
• DD 2754 (version 2017).
• Dependent Documents (Marriage Certificate/License, Birth Certificates, Court Orders, and Divorce Decrees).
• ETPs, Approved Backfill Memo (if applicable).
• Good Teacher Certificate (When Approved Under LOSS).
• JROTC Instructor Hire Packets are screened and processed as received by Cadet Command, Instructor Management Division.
• All documents (1-3 above) must be signed in pen and ink (no autopen, Adobe created, nor copied signatures).
• Request letter must include Certification date (CNACI date). If Instructor is approved under LOSS, the ‘Certification Date’ will be the day after Approved LOSS date.
• Employment date on request letter MUST match the DD FM 2767, Block 10a.
• DD FM 2767 must have correct School  (3-4 digits) and correct District  (first two letters of state abbreviation and 4 digits).
• DD FM 2754 must have applicable supporting documents such as Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate for children, Divorce Decree, etc.
• Hire Officials MUST send hire packet to cathy.l.nickelson.civ as ONE package/single combined Adobe PDF file.
• Access to JROTC Databases are granted until Official Hire Letter is received from Cadet Command.
• An Official Hire Letter with MIP is provided from higher level reviewers at Cadet Command after verified info is received regarding the potential instructor’s Retirement Pay.
