Position: Physician - Chief of Cardiology (Non-Invasive)
Location: Columbia

Overview

Columbia Medicine Service is seeking a Chief Cardiologist with outstanding clinical, teaching, administrative and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will also work collaboratively with the Cardiology staff. The incumbent will have clinical responsibilities, including preceptor to medical students and additional ad hoc clinical, teaching, and administrative assignments as may be required by the Chief of the Medicine Service or the Chief of Staff.

Duties

Columbia Medicine Service duties include clinical, teaching and administrative assignments as required by the Chief of the Medicine Service or the Chief of Staff. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

    No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
Qualifications
  • The candidate must have completed Internal Medicine training in an accredited program, as well as a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases.
  • Board Certification in Cardiovascular Diseases is required.
  • Expertise in the interpretation of Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI is desirable.
