Requirements:

• Must be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine or true board eligible.
• SC licensed with an active DEA and SCDHEC controlled substance license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

Practice Environment:

• Average census is 43.
• Hospitalists do not see patients below the age of 18.
• Hospitalist covers ICU with tele
  
  ICU coverage.
• Single coverage with a maximum of 10 admits per night; anything after 10 floats to the day doctor.
• Must be able to perform intubations, para/thoracentesis, c-lines, and handle stroke alerts and medical alerts.
