Responsibilities:- Provide medical care to pediatric patients in various settings.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions in children.
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in rounds, case conferences, and other team meetings.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric medicine and best practices.
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Valid state medical license.
- Proven experience working as a Pediatrician.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Level I nursery
Schedule:
24-hour beeper call (8a-8a), specific dates
Annual Volume: ~600 deliveries
Daily Volume: 3-5 patients
Duties:
Emergent care and stabilization of ill newborns of any viable gestational age and routine care of healthy newborns
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
