Civil Construction Technician

Join our dynamic team as a Civil Construction Technician, reporting directly to the Civil Foreman. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing foundational and structural tasks for critical infrastructure projects, constructing concrete forms and pouring foundations for equipment platforms, structural shelters, and communication towers.

• Construct, place, and finish concrete for various structures, including equipment pads and tower foundations.
• Perform a range of civil construction duties such as site preparation, demolition, basic carpentry, fencing, and painting.
• Operate core drills to create precise openings for service entries and set concrete anchors securely.
• Collaborate effectively with the team, demonstrating the ability to work independently and make sound judgments that align with company standards.
• Maintain open communication with the Civil Foreman, providing updates on progress, identifying potential issues, and clarifying project needs.

• Proven experience in general construction, including earthwork, equipment operation, and concrete/asphalt installation.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with electrical grounding techniques (e.g., exothermic welding) is highly desirable.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth within the construction field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to learn through on-the-job training and self-directed study.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets our company's insurability guidelines.

This position requires the physical capacity to perform all related duties in a construction setting. You must be comfortable working safely at elevated heights, including on rooftops and ladders.
