Location: Columbia

Primary Function:

Actively participates in the work on the project. Assist in leading and motivating field personnel in all efforts for safety, production, quality control, schedule adherence, and tasks according to priorities and plans.

Responsibilities:

Reads and interprets plans and specifications from Architect/Engineer and can communicate these to others.

Proactively identifies problems that could delay construction and implements resolutions as directed.

Oversees assigned construction trades to ensure compliance with the scope, quality, schedule adherence, and building codes as established by the contract documents.

Support Superintendent in managing tool and equipment utilization for the project to ensure our resources are used efficiently.

Leads weekly Site Safety Meeting (when assigned).

Develops and/or understands how to read project schedules.

Works proactively as directed by Superintendent to manage self-performance personnel, subcontractors and suppliers.

Promotes and maintains positive relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Maintains assigned company assets.

Complies with M.

B. Kahn’s Safety Program, OSHA guidelines, and Company policies, procedures, and standards.

Promotes integrity, honesty, hard work, safety, and quality throughout all aspects of the project and is a professional representative of M.

B. Kahn.

Performs additional assignments as directed by management or as required for successful project completion.

Qualifications (Education/Experience):

Minimum 2-year Construction or Engineering Degree OR 1-3 years of practical field experience

Required Certification/Training:

Completed OSHA 30 Hour Course for Construction
Current First Aid Certification

Required Skills/Abilities:

Understands basic construction layout.
Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
