Palmetto Site Construction is seeking experienced Foreman/Heavy Equipment Operators to join our Field Operations team. This full-time, on-site role requires strong leadership, advanced heavy equipment operation skills, and the ability to read civil plans and set grades accurately. The ideal candidate will be able to both lead and work alongside crews to ensure efficient and high-quality completion of residential, commercial, and industrial sitework projects.

Key Responsibilities- Operate a variety of heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, skid steers, and loaders
- Perform finish grading (not just rough grade)
- Read and interpret civil construction plans
- Set up and shoot grades accurately, including base and rover work
- Utilize GPS systems on equipment; GPS dozer experience is a plus
- Lead field crews and mentor junior team members
- Collaborate with supervisors and project managers to maintain schedules and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sitework and equipment operation
- Proficient in reading civil plans and calculating grades
- Skilled in finish grading with heavy equipment
- GPS and base/rover experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team motivation abilities
- CEPSC certification is a plus (not required)
- Reliable and able to work Monday–Friday, with weekend and overtime availability as needed
