PositionSummary
Heathwood Hall Episcopal School is seeking caring, energetic, and reliable part‑time staff members for our program. The program serves children ages 2 to 14 in a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
Reports ToDirector of Extended Programs, Chris Mc Duffie
Work ScheduleMonday‑Friday 2:15 p‑m to 6:00 p‑m, at least three days per week
Pay$12.00 per hour
Essential Duties- Creating a safe, caring learning environment for students after school
- Maintaining a structured schedule that includes time for snack, homework assistance, fun activity, and free time
- Taking attendance
- Keeping detailed sign‑out records to ensure students are picked up by an approved individual
- Preparing snacks
- Planning activities and crafts
- Supervising and engaging with students and ensuring a safe, positive environment
Job Skills
- Previous experience in child care
- Team player
- Flexibility with availability and assignment
- Ability to take direction and work well with others
- Strong communication skills
- Expansive school campus with 122+ acres, must be able to travel between buildings independently.
- Frequent walking, standing, stooping, bending may be required throughout the day at various intervals
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
