Afternoon Express Associate

Heathwood Hall Episcopal School is seeking caring, energetic, and reliable part‑time staff members for our program. The program serves children ages 2 to 14 in a safe, fun, and engaging environment.

Director of Extended Programs, Chris Mc Duffie

Monday‑Friday 2:15 p‑m to 6:00 p‑m, at least three days per week

$12.00 per hour

• Creating a safe, caring learning environment for students after school
• Maintaining a structured schedule that includes time for snack, homework assistance, fun activity, and free time
• Taking attendance
• Keeping detailed sign‑out records to ensure students are picked up by an approved individual
• Preparing snacks
• Planning activities and crafts
• Supervising and engaging with students and ensuring a safe, positive environment

• Previous experience in child care
• Team player
• Flexibility with availability and assignment
• Ability to take direction and work well with others
• Strong communication skills

• Expansive school campus with 122+ acres, must be able to travel between buildings independently.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, bending may be required throughout the day at various intervals
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
