- Work with the full‑time team to provide camp leadership across your division and the entire camp.
- Create and maintain a high‑standard environment for camp staff throughout the summer.
- Plan and facilitate evening programs for all campers.
- Assist program staff in maintaining program areas in accordance with ACA guidelines.
- Maintain schedules for staff and manage afternoon activity schedule (Truddy time).
- Assist in leading daily staff meetings.
- Interact with participants from all backgrounds.
- Maintain rosters, checklists, and reporting information promptly.
- Build and support camp staff to create a safe, fun, and magical experience for all.
- Lead by example in all aspects of camp.
- Support senior leadership in decision making and program management during the summer.
- Assist with staff evaluations throughout the summer.
- Help with high‑adventure program facilitation such as high ropes and zip line.
- Serve as a role model, upholding camp values with integrity, creativity, and safety.
- Ensure the mental, emotional, and physical well‑being of campers during their stay.
- Approach responsibilities in a fun, creative, enthusiastic, and professional manner.
- Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumers.
- Attend and complete required abuse‑risk management training.
- Follow procedures for managing high‑risk activities and supervising consumers.
- Follow mandated reporting requirements.
- Adhere to job‑specific abuse‑risk management responsibilities.
- Hold CPR/First Aid certification or obtain it by June 2026.
- Meet YCG minimum requirements to drive a 15‑passenger minibus.
- Maintain a clean MVR check (Motor Vehicle Check).
- Be at least 18 years old or graduate high school by June 2026.
- 21 or older.
- Leadership experience in an overnight camp setting.
