- Schedule: M–F (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Training & Safety Manager, the Workforce Safety & Training Coordinator supports the coordination and delivery of employee training and workplace safety initiatives. This role ensures effective training logistics, maintains accurate records, facilitates new hire orientation, and promotes a safety‑conscious culture through compliance tracking, safety event support, and safety training facilitation.
Training & Development- Maintain training records, schedules, and rosters; update the training calendar and reserve training spaces.
- Prepare and distribute communications such as notices and invitations for scheduled classes.
- Extract training data and compile reports to track employee development.
- Maintain training materials inventory and ensure timely ordering.
- Facilitate new‑hire orientation and maintain required onboarding documentation.
- Assist in setup, teardown, and upkeep of training rooms and equipment.
- Support the development and delivery of training modules, including soft skills and job‑specific skills.
- Act as a liaison to other departments to coordinate training and employee development events.
- Schedule and track safety training, certifications (e.g., forklift, PPE use, hazard communication), and safety re‑certifications.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date safety training records and compliance logs (e.g., OSHA‑required logs).
- Assist in conducting safety observations and walk‑throughs with the safety team.
- Support safety communication campaigns (e.g., posters, toolbox talks, monthly safety themes).
- Help coordinate incident response logistics (e.g., documentation support, follow‑up training).
- Collaborate with operations to ensure that all field, facility, and warehouse employees are trained on safe practices.
- Lead and coordinate Safety Talks, to promote a safety mindset (e.g., reviews, updates, and train workforce).
- Experience in safety coordination, training support, HR, or similar roles (manufacturing/food production preferred).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage schedules, records, and data with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data‑entry/reporting systems.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Comfortable presenting training to small and large groups.
- Ability to work in cold, wet, loud environments (36–38°F).
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime when needed.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
