Your RoleAs an Automotive Technician / Mechanic, you will be a vital part of our team, using your skills and knowledge to diagnose and repair vehicles. If you’re energetic, upbeat, and ready to tackle challenges, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Gain hands-on experience with a variety of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with your team to troubleshoot customer concerns efficiently.
- Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding customer needs.
- Work together with fellow technicians to meet deadlines and deliver outstanding results.
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve customers.
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve them.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- Meet or exceed hourly performance goals.
- Aptitude for learning new skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- A commitment to long-term career development.
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Comfortable working in tight spaces as needed for repairs.
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Ability to walk or stand for the majority of the workday.
- Capable of driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Proficient in navigating a computer.
