Job Summary
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Office Manager to oversee daily administrative, accounting, and operational support functions for our Charleston, SC division. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable, and skilled in managing invoices, accounts payable, financial reporting, and office operations.
SalaryCompetitive and negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and skill set. Eligible for up to $10K annual in bonus.

ResponsibilitiesJob Function:
Sales & Invoicing
- Process daily billing of customer shipments and storage charges.
- Verify shipping documentation and ensure accurate invoicing.
- Create credit memos, resolve billing discrepancies, and manage customer deductions.
- Set up new customer accounts and assist with payment applications.
Accounts Payable
- Manage all accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and vendor communication.
- Monitor freight and steel payable via TFM and STAR systems; ensure timely processing and discount compliance.
- Maintain vendor records, process mill debits/credits, and manage divisional P‑cards.
Financial Close
- Month‑end close – ensure all month‑end functions are complete and the month‑end "close" is completed on a timely basis.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits.
- Generate and distribute month‑end reports.
Office Administration
- Manage front desk operations, greet visitors, and handle incoming calls.
- Order and maintain office supplies; oversee mail and package distribution.
- Support Purchasing, EDI Releases, and other administrative functions.
This role works closely with a variety of departments and managers across the company. The ideal candidate should be comfortable juggling conversations, requests, and priorities from different teams to help keep things running smoothly.
Qualifications- 3+ years of administrative or office management experience (required).
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (required).
- Strong accounting knowledge (invoicing, A/P, and month‑end close).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Experience with STAR, OnBase, or TFM systems a plus.
