We are working with a growing construction client seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting and office operations. This role is ideal for someone with construction accounting experience who is looking to grow into a Controller or CFO role over time.
Key Responsibilities- Full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Construction accounting including job costing and project tracking
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
- Assist with monthly close and reporting
- Support payroll coordination as needed
- General office management and administrative support
- Work closely with ownership and external CPA
- Help improve accounting processes as the company grows
- 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience in a construction company
- Strong understanding of job costing
- Proficiency in Sage 50 or similar ERP system
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats
- This position offers a clear path to advance into a Controller or CFO role.
