We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist for a company in the upstate area! This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to handle payroll and accounts payable responsibilities efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and expertise in payroll processes, contributing to the smooth operation of the office.

Responsibilities:

- Process full-cycle payroll operations for the organization with accuracy and timeliness.

- Manage payroll for under 100 employees, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

- Utilize Quick Books to maintain and update payroll records and financial data.

- Handle accounts payable tasks including verifying invoices and processing payments.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure cross-training in payroll-related functions.

- Generate and analyze payroll reports to provide insights to management.

- Maintain up-to-date employee payment records and resolve any discrepancies.

- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry, calculations, and reporting purposes.

Requirements

- Familiarity with managing payroll for small businesses or under 100 employees.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Excel.

- Strong understanding of accounts payable procedures.

- Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic office environment.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of payroll compliance regulations.

- Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
