Target associates in General Merchandise (GM) and Food roles support store processes to ensure product is set, in stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The GM and Food team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing for GM areas, conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise setup and maintenance, pricing, and supports pick, pack and ship fulfillment for guests.

• Create a welcoming guest experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Assist guests and resolve their needs in a welcoming manner.
• Execute daily tasks aligned with business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Perform pricing changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and maintain inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Know available resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking, packing, and delivering pickup orders) while complying with applicable laws.
• All other duties as needed to support business priorities.

• Physical capability to climb ladders and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible schedule with reliable attendance; able to work in varying temperatures and conditions.
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift.
