Verdantas is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer II to contribute to our expanding project portfolio. This role involves supporting project managers and team members with a variety of tasks, including field data collection, civil engineering design, site layout, drainage analysis, preparation of permit applications, and assistance with construction-related services.

What you'll do:
- Assist Project Manager on municipal, commercial, residential, and institutional projects
- Prepare reports and permit applications related to civil engineering projects
- Assist in the design of civil engineering-related projects, including site grading, wastewater collection, septic design, road and drainage improvements, drinking water treatment, distribution, and storage, and construction services assistance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project needs
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices in all project activities
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution
- 2-5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in water and wastewater infrastructure, stormwater, and site design
- EIT or PE preferred
- AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D experience required
- Vermont regulatory framework experience preferred
- Strong understanding of civil engineering fundamentals, including stormwater/drainage design, surface water hydraulics, water and sewage systems, and roadway/parking design
The compensation range starts at $70,000 and is based on the position, experience, and licensure.
