Requirements:

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from an ADA-accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of Vermont.

• BLS/CPR (AHA)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-time dentist.

• Must possess a current unrestricted driver’s license in the United States and ability to drive a mobile dental clinic (commercial driver’s license not required)

Responsibilities:

• Provide full-range dental care including exams, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, oral surgery, and patient education.

• Supervise dental assistants and hygienists, ensuring adherence to clinical standards.

• Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and oral surgeries.

• Oversee sterilization of dental equipment and infection control in the mobile clinic.

• Manage patient records using the Electronic Health Records (EHR).

• Ensure compliance with VA standards, federal regulations (HIPAA, OSHA), and Joint Commission standards.

• Coordinate care with other medical personnel for treatments outside the scope of the mobile dental clinic.

• Drive and operate the mobile dental clinic in accordance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
