As a
** Food Services Assistant**, you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of our St Vincent's Care Services Heathcote.

** St Vincent's Care Services Heathcote** (locally known as John Paul Village) is a 213 bed facility located 35km from Sydney's CBD. It is situated next to the Royal National Park, one of Sydney's real treasures!

**** This is a Casual opportunity. Applicants must have availability to work AM/PM shifts through the week.
**** Things that work for us:
*** Previous experience in a similar role
* Experience in an aged care facility or hospital environment desirable, providing services that support high quality food services outcomes for residents, customers and staff of the Facility
* High level of customer service skills
* Flexibility to work morning &/or afternoon shifts across the week.
* Willingness to work in the kitchen or on serving, completing wash-up duties, unloading deliveries &/or whatever is required to provide an excellent food service for our residents.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* An ability to provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation, and food safety standards
* An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
* An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
* Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (valid within 6 months).
* NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
